As of December 16, 2019, the Deputy involved in the Vance County Middle School incident is no longer an employee with the Vance County Sheriff’s Office.
We appreciate all the concerns regarding this matter; however, we will ask that everyone remain patient while this investigation is ongoing.
This matter is under investigation with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and all questions or concerns should be directed to 1-800–334–3000.
