— From Henderson Police Chief Marcus Barrow
On April 7, 2026, the Henderson Police Department, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, conducted a search warrant at a residence located at 530 E. Montgomery Street in Henderson, North Carolina.
The search warrant stemmed from a traffic stop involving Reggie Lewis of Henderson, NC. During the traffic stop, officers located approximately 100 dosage units of suspected heroin and $3,588 in U.S. currency.
As a result of the subsequent search warrant execution at 530 E. Montgomery Street, officers located an additional approximately 100 dosage units of suspected heroin and approximately 629.9 grams of marijuana.
Reggie Lewis was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
• Three (3) counts of Trafficking Heroin
• Possession With Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Heroin (PWIMSD Heroin)
• Two (2) counts of Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for Controlled Substances
• Felony Possession of Marijuana
Lewis was transported to the Vance County Detention Center and was placed under a $140,000 secured bond.
