The Vance County Veterans Services office is hosting a workshop and luncheon to give local veterans a chance to network with one another and learn about resources in the area.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 21 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Southern Charm Event Center, 200 S. Garnett St.
This is a free event, said Bailey Shaffer, local veterans services officer, and organizers hope to have 100 in attendance for the lunch and workshop. No pre-registration is needed, Shaffer said.
Nicola Goslin-Ricks is the director of the local veterans services office, which is located inside the Henry A. Dennis Building, 300 S. Garnett St.
