Kerr Lake Country Club will host a Grand Re-Opening Weekend on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2020, with a golf outing benefiting The Brotherhood of Warriors. KLCC would like to invite the community to experience the re-opening of the golf course with the new Bermuda grass greens in place.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m., and a Special Forces Jump Team will descend around 10:15 a.m. with a landing set for 10:30 a.m.
A shotgun start golf tournament will follow on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 11 a.m. Those interested in participating in the golf outing (with CDC guidelines and state mandates in place), should contact Julia at (252) 492-1895.
A team of three golfers for $300 will be paired with a Combat Wounded Veteran in a Captain’s Choice format. Participants are encouraged to create a lasting friendship with these veterans while enjoying a great afternoon of golf and fellowship.
The Brotherhood of Warriors is a non-profit organization founded by Brad Clayton. You may find more information
about the organization at www.thebrotherhoodofwarriors.o
After golfing, continue to celebrate the weekend by visiting various food and drink vendors, as well as participating in the other activities being held that Saturday and Sunday! It’s going to be a GREAT weekend at KLCC!
