VCSO’s Charity Bike Ride Sept. 19 To Benefit S.a.M. Child Advocacy Center

Here are two good reasons to get that motorcycle out this weekend – one, the weather forecast and two, the Vance County Sheriff’s Office Charity Bike Ride 2026 to benefit a local child advocacy center.

Kickstands up, as they say, at 10 a.m. at 284 U.S. 158 Bypass, according to information from Vance County Sheriff Curtis Brame.

Registration is $20 per rider and $10 a passenger. All proceeds go to benefit S.a.M. Child Advocacy Center in Henderson.

The free post-ride community event from 12 noon to 5 p.m. will take place at Greens Campground Hideaway, located at 121 Greens Camp Lane, Henderson 27537.

There’s free admission for riders; Individuals who didn’t take part in the ride can get in for $10 and kids get in free.

There will be music, face painting, a jump house, raffles and plenty of vendors on site. Participants will have a chance to see and explore law enforcement vehicles and a fire truck, too.
