The anticipated “Wizard of Oz on Ice” performance scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 at McGregor Hall has been rescheduled for Wednesday. Apr. 29 at 7 p.m.
When McGregor Hall Executive Director Mark Hopper spoke with WIZS back in the fall to talk about the upcoming McGregor Live! Series, he said a California-based company on a national tour was going to make a stop in Henderson to share its version of the classic story about a girl from Kansas who found her way to the Emerald City.
“We worked out a deal with them to come and do their technical rehearsals here, and in exchange we’re going to get to enjoy a show that otherwise would be way, way, way beyond our reach,” Hopper noted during the interview back in October 2025.
“This is a really high-end professionally done show with all the characters you know and love – this will be a great, great family show,” Hopper said.
