Why: They warmly welcome elementary, middle, and high school students to enjoy free backpacks and school supplies. Join them for family fun, with activities including a bounce house, water games, video games, and games for adults. A delicious lunch will be served to all. They’ll also be sharing groceries with their guests while supplies last. They would be truly delighted to celebrate this festive annual Back-to-School event with you and your family!

What: Annual Golf Tournament
When: Thursday, August 13th, 2026
Where: Kerr Lake Country Club
Why: Crimestoppers is looking for Hole Sponsors and Team Sponsors for the tournament. The amount to sponsor a hole is $100, and to sponsor a team of 4 players is $200. Your contribution is very important to their all-volunteer organization. Crimestoppers operates from the premise that for every crime that occurs, somebody somewhere sees something and knows something. They are the organization that facilitates the flow of that information to law enforcement that can lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the crime. This golf tournament is the primary fund raiser for their organization each year, and your support is vital to their success. Your contribution is tax deductible. Check-in and Chick-Fil-A lunch will occur from 11:30am to 12:30pm, with the shotgun start at 1:00pm.

What: Hot Wheels Car Races

Additional Details: We will have races for every age group, children through adults. These will be stock car only races. The only modifications that will be allowed is lubrication. What: Cross Country Festival. There are cross country races open for all ages, as well as a collegiate invitational race. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle drawing supporting the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina.

Why: All Proceeds from the Tag Sale ministry go to support the missions of the United Women in Faith.
