Who: The Brick Power Team Ministry is hosting a fundraiser.
What: The weightlifting fundraiser will feature bench press with touch-and-go rules. Hot dogs will be sold at the event.
When: Weigh-in will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, September 18, and from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM on Saturday, September 19. Rules will be reviewed at 9:15 AM, and the meet will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19.
Where: The Brick, the building beside Freedom Life Church on Martin Creek Road in Henderson.
Additional Details: This fundraiser will help raise funds for the Night To Shine program, which is associated with North Henderson Baptist Church. Night to Shine serves children with special needs and people with disabilities. Your support will be greatly appreciated. Adult entry is $50, and teen entry is $40. What: Vance County will hold its annual Opioid Settlement Meeting. The agenda preview includes the state of opioid and substance use in Vance County, an opioid settlement progress report, and community and stakeholder input.
Who: Vance County residents, community partners, and stakeholders are invited to attend.

Where: Vance County Administrative Building, Commissioners Meeting Room, 122 Young Street, Henderson.
