Who: Remote Area medical Volunteer Corps

What: Seeking volunteers — Seeking volunteer medical, dental, and vision professionals and general staff to support its March 28-29 clinic in Henderson. They also need volunteers to help set up and take down on March 27 and March 29. Overnight parking volunteers are also needed. And interpreters.

Who: Remote Area Medical (R.A.M.)

What: A FREE pop-up clinic offering dental, vision, and medical services for all

When: The clinic will be held on March 28th and 29th, 2026. The patient parking lot opens on Friday, March 27th, at 11:59pm, and patients will be seen starting Saturday 6am and Sunday 6am.

Where: Vance Charter School, located at 2090 Ross Mill Rd in Henderson

Additional Details: NO insurance, NO ID, and NO appointment needed. Services include eye exams, glaucoma testing, glasses made on-site, dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, general medical care, women’s health, and more. Services are first-come, first-served, so be sure to come as early! Come prepared with your own food, water, and medications for the day. For more information, call 865-579-1530 or visit ramusa.org

Why: To plan, coordinate, and implement local programs and events in celebration of the United States Semi quincentennial (“American 250”) consistent with the statewide and national initiatives

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11AM-1PM. Please enter through the Church Office entrance, and a volunteer will guide you through several rooms of the Tag Sale.

Where: First United Methodist Church of Henderson, 114 Church St., Henderson, NC 27536

Why: All Proceeds from the Tag Sale ministry go to support the missions of the United Women in Faith. These missions include the following: Hand-in-Hand, Soup Kitchen, Pinkston Street Elementary Weekend Packs, Area Christians Together in Service (ACTS), the Boys & Girls Club, Lifeline, Community Partners of Hope, Good Neighbor Fund, YMCA Children’s Programs, NC Conference Missions, Methodist Home for Children, and the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
