The city of Henderson’s Public Works Department has published the following holiday schedule for curbside leaf pickup, yard debris, recycling and trash collection:
- Thanksgiving week is a non-recycle week for sanitation customers, therefore no recycling will be collected.
- Loose leaf collection operations will take place through Wednesday, Nov. 24. There will be no collection of leaves on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, or Friday, Nov. 28.
Please note loose leaf collection generally occurs on a two-or three-week rotation; however, this is dependent on weather conditions and leaf accumulation.
Yard Debris Collection is scheduled as follows:
- Regular Mon and Tuesday customers had pickup on Monday, Nov. 24;
- Regular Wednesday and Thursday customers will be collected today, Tuesday, Nov. 25.
- Regular Friday customers will be collected on Wed, Nov. 26.
Garbage collection is scheduled as follows:
- There will be no change for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday customers.
- Regular Thursday customers will be collected on Friday, Nov. 28.
- Regular Friday customers will be collected on Sat. Nov. 29.
