What: 2025 Tennis & Dentist Community Day. For ages 5 – 18. Tennis racquets and balls will be provided.
When: Saturday, May 31st from 10am until 2pm
Where: Fox Pond Park Tennis Courts at 375 Vicksboro Road, Henderson
Why: Come out and enjoy free tennis lessons, learn about good oral hygiene and more. Celebrate National Tennis Month.

What: Ride to Save Lives Event, Lost Voices of Fentanyl Fundraiser. The event will kick off with a motorcycle ride fundraiser starting at eleven o’clock in Henderson, North Carolina. Following the ride, guest speakers April Babcock, President and Founder of Lost Voices of Fentanyl, and Patricia Drews, Founder of Forgotten Victims of North Carolina and Vice President of Lost Voices of Fentanyl, and many more distinguished guests will take the stage around one o’clock.

Where: Shooters Tavern, 2915 Norlina Rd, Henderson, NC
Why: The event aims to raise awareness about the devastating impact of fentanyl, particularly among school-age children. Fifty Victims impact banners representing Lost Voices of Fentanyl will be displayed, along with four teen banners highlighting the tragic loss of young lives due to fentanyl. Later in the afternoon, around four o’clock, three bands will take the stage, providing live music performances to support the cause. Funds raised will go towards supporting the national event in Washington DC, where participants will march to the White House on October 18th, 2025. By attending this event, we hope to educate and inform the public about the risks of fentanyl and the importance of prevention.

What: Fox Pond Park Camping Adventure. For ages 8-13. All participants must bring their own sleeping bags, bathing essentials, and a change of clothing.
When: Friday, June 6th-Saturday, June 7th. Drop-off will be between 5:50pm-6:30pm Friday evening and Pick-up will be at 11am. Registration is open now and closes June 4th. You can register online or in person at the Aycock Recreation Center. 25 participants max.
