Chamber: New Teacher Gift Bags for 2021

Some 140 new teachers will arrive soon.

The Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce’s annual tradition of new teacher gift bags continues.

Vance County Public Schools, Henderson Collegiate, Crossroads Christian School, Kerr-Vance Academy and Vance Charter School will benefit from your help packing the new teacher gift bags.

The Chamber is looking for donations from local business owners to pack into bags for these teachers including pens, pencils, pads, hand sanitizer, coupons / discount cards, key chains and other thoughtful, useful items.

If you or your business would like to donate an item for each teacher, the Chamber would greatly appreciate it.

The deadline for donations is Friday, July 23rd.

H-V Chamber Extends Deadline for New Teacher Bag Items, Thanks Donors

The Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce is preparing to welcome new teachers to the Vance County area. The schools include Vance County Public Schools, Henderson Collegiate, Crossroads Christian School, Kerr-Vance Academy and Vance Charter School.

Approximately 140 new teachers will be welcomed to the area this year. The H-V Chamber is looking for donations from local business owners to pack into bags for these teachers. Suggested items include pens, pencils, pads, hand sanitizer, coupons/discount cards, key chains, etc.

The deadline to donate items has been extended to Friday, July 17.

Business Donations Needed for H-V Chamber’s New Teacher Bags

The Henderson-Vance County Chamber of Commerce is preparing to welcome new teachers to the Vance County area in August. The schools include all Vance County Public Schools, Henderson Collegiate, Crossroads Christian School, Kerr-Vance Academy and Vance Charter School.

We are looking for donations from local business owners to pack into bags (that have been generously donated by the Vance County Farm Bureau) for these teachers. We have approximately 165 new teachers that we will be welcoming to the area.

Businesses may donate everything from chips, chewing gum, pencils, pens, notepads, water bottles, stress balls, gift cards….anything that they feel would promote their business.

If your business would be able to donate an item for each teacher, we would greatly appreciate it. Donations are being accepted now until Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
