New Sandy Creek Baptist Church is hosting a Vacation Bible School June 26-29. The program theme is “Ready, Set, Move” and runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is free and open to any young person from 0 to 12th grade, according to information from Jackie Ayscue. The church is located at 1699 Weldons Mill Rd. Dinner will be served each night, with a special “family night” on June 29 to conclude the program.

New Sandy Creek Baptist Church will hold a Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 1699 Weldon’s Mill Road in Henderson.
This is a FREE community event that will include games, prizes, face painting, craft room, photo booth, cakewalk, special video presentation, nachos, popcorn, drinks, bonfire and, of course, Trunk or Treat.
Games and activities start at 6:15 p.m. and Trunk or Treat will start around 7:30 p.m.

GiddyUp Junction Vacation Bible School will be held June 10-14, 2019, at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 1699 Weldon’s Mill Road, Henderson. This is a free event that has something for every age, nursery-adult.
Kids will learn about Jesus’ love and how to take that love to new frontiers through Bible lessons, crafts, music and games. The adult class will be studying the Art of Marriage series.
Dinner will be served Monday through Thursday at 5:45 p.m., with a special Fun Finale on Friday that includes a program, photo booth, store and ice cream!
