The Local Skinny! Community Watch In Kittrell

 

The Kittrell Community Watch will meet on Thursday evening, July 21 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church and President Edward Woodlief invites anyone interested to attend.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church, located in Kittrell at 6535 Raleigh Rd.

Guest speaker is Detective Andrew Bishop with the Vance County Sheriff’s Office and he will discuss the use of drones in law enforcement and how these unmanned remote devices are used to fight crime.

The Kittrell Community Watch will meet Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 6535 US #1 Business S. Kittrell, NC.

The guest speaker will be Capt. John Shelton, Vance County Sheriff’s Office. His topic will be church security and will touch on church policy and lessons learned from recent “church shootings” across the country. He will offer insight on how to protect yourself and others should you be faced with a similar situation.

Light refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend, even if you live outside of Kittrell.

The Kittrell Community Watch will meet Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 6535 Raleigh Road (US#1 Business South), Henderson, NC.

Guest speaker will be Brindle Wilkins, Jr., Sheriff of Granville County. He will highlight what his county is doing to prevent crime, deal with the drug problem and keep the citizens of his county safe.

Light refreshments will be served.

Kittrell Community Watch to Meet Thurs., June 21

The Kittrell Community Watch will meet Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 6535 Raleigh Road, in Kittrell, NC.

The speakers for the meeting will be Amy Daniels, RN, MDS and Raven Sanford RN, MDS of Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They will highlight patient referral, care and rehabilitation information on cerebrovascular accidents (strokes) as well as information on the care and rehabilitation for orthopedic patients who have received a knee/hip replacement.

Even if you live outside the Kittrell area, you are welcome to attend.

Light refreshments will be served.

Kittrell Community Watch will meet at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Union Chapel United Methodist Church located at 6535 Raleigh Road, Henderson. The meeting will take place on Thursday, Feb 15.

Woodlief wrote in an email to WIZS News, “Please note this is a new location for the meetings. A member of the NC State Highway Patrol will be the speaker. Candidates for the May Sheriff Election, Curtis Brame and Billy Gooch will also speak. Light refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.”
