‘Rise Against Hunger’ Meal Packing Event to Hold Planning Meeting Oct. 1

A “Rise Against Hunger,” a Vance County community day of service meal packing event, is scheduled to be held on Martin Luther King Day, January 23, 2020, at the Vance County Farmers Market, sponsored by the Vance County Farm Bureau.

An informational and planning meeting will be held this coming Tuesday, October 1 at 7 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 114 Church St, in Henderson.

We invite all interested churches, civic organizations, Fellowship of Christian Athletes or other community businesses to attend this meeting.

A representative from Rise Against Hunger will be on hand to answer questions and provide other information leading up to the event.
