CSX Transportation plans to temporarily close the railroad crossing located on Bear Pond Road between Raleigh Road and U.S. 1 Bypass.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Sept. 29, with the crossing expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Sept. 30, weather permitting.
Signs will be in place directing motorists to the designated detour route.
