On Saturday, December 5, 2015, members of the Henderson Police Department Patrol Operations Division responded to Citi Trends, 389 Raleigh Road, Henderson in response to a report of an armed robbery. Employees reported that two black males armed with guns had entered the business and demanded currency.
Henderson Patrol Officers have arrested Tyler Jones, 19, 245 Lynnbank Estates Road, Henderson in this matter. Jones was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen goods. Jones was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 75,000.00 secured bond. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for January 12, 2016 in Vance County District Court.
