What: Chicken Plate Sale Fundraiser
When: August 22nd at 12 noon
Where: At the Brick Building beside the Freedom Life Church of God, 1001 Martin Creek Rd, Henderson, NC 27537
Additional Details: Pick up plates will be $12 which will have chicken, boil potatoes, string beans and bread. Eat in plates will be $14 and will have chicken, boil potatoes, string beans and a cold drink or water and bread. Dessert may be available also. What: Cross Country Festival. There are cross country races open for all ages, as well as a collegiate invitational race. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle drawing supporting the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina.

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11AM-1PM. Please enter through the Church Office entrance, and a volunteer will guide you through several rooms of the Tag Sale.

Why: All Proceeds from the Tag Sale ministry go to support the missions of the United Women in Faith. These missions include the following: Hand-in-Hand, Soup Kitchen, Pinkston Street Elementary Weekend Packs, Area Christians Together in Service (ACTS), the Boys & Girls Club, Lifeline, Community Partners of Hope, Good Neighbor Fund, YMCA Children’s Programs, NC Conference Missions, Methodist Home for Children, and the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
