In order to ensure your public service announcement is advertised, WIZS has made a policy change. We will no longer accept hand written submissions. This change will ensure the on-air personalities will be able to read your announcement.

If your organization has an upcoming event, you may now submit your information on the form below, we ask that your submission be email at least 2 weeks prior to the event in order to serve you better. WIZS will be happy to post your event below and announce it on air.

In an effort to better serve our listeners, WIZS will start adding your Public Service Announcements to our site.


The Kittrell Volunteer Fire Dept will be having a Stew Sale fundraiser on Saturday January 31st. The cost is $7.00 per quart. Pick up time for stew will be from 11 am until 4 pm. Individuals can pre-order by calling 252-492-4623.


The Henderson Family YMCA is having their Winter Wonderland Dance at the YMCA on February 6th from 6:15 pm until 8:30 pm. The cost is $7.00 per person, there will be music, and hors d’ oeuvres available. Register online or at the Membership Services Desk of the YMCA.


The White Oak-Lakeview Community Watch group will hold its next meeting on Monday, February 9th at 6:30 pm in the Chapel of Flower’s Funeral Home in Henderson. Lt. Gwynn of HPD will be the main speaker.

Community Partners of Hope are looking for donations of lamps, ceiling fans, chest of drawers, bed side tables, single bed linens, gently used towels, washcloths and more. Also looking for supply lockers to secure and store clothing and personal belongings for the men of the Hope House. The Habitat for Humanity Restore is located in the Hilltop Villiage Shopping Center in the old Rose’s Building on Williamsboro St. in Oxford. Open 10am – 5pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
